LCAs and Corporate Carbon Footprints?
They Can’t Deliver Like This.
You may consider creating customer carbon footprints from LCAs or a corporate carbon footprint. However, conducting a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for every product is expensive and the full lifecycle scope likely includes more stages than what your customer is looking for. Corporate carbon footprints (scope 1, 2, 3 inventories) give an overall footprint, but customers need emissions data specific to their purchases.
